hmmm… inspiration from where?
- The Smashing Pumpkins’ new album “Oceania”, which is a modern year 2010+ masterpiece!
- Hamish & Andy, keeping the laughs fresh every Gap Year
- Lady asked me the other day, as I was walking to work, to help her swipe her credit card at the parking pay station for her as she couldn’t do it herself… her bright red acrylic nails were too long and were limiting her ability to be normal…
- L.O.V.E - as my friend keeps it together while waiting for his new wife’s Visa to approve so they can begin their life… together.
- Coffee Cup - mine is large and wide like a soup bowl.

- LeBron James & Miami Heat!!
- People that have been through a period in life being ugly in appearance (according to them), then after making changes they think they’re “ALL THAT, AND A BAG OF CHIPS”, as my wife would say.
- Usher, deciding to leave the sleaziness behind in his new album “Looking 4 Myself” and produce songs with meaning. He thinks this is his most artistic album he’s ever made. This is most definitely true. And it’s about time too as Usher is a great singer but never seems to want to master his artistry with great songs instead of disposable ugly pop.
- Luke Steele from Empire Of The Sun working with Usher, Jay Z, Beyonce is a wanted man, producing and writing songs for them!

- Yanni - Until The Last Moment
- Ceragem (which I am using)
- People with A.D.H.D that live happy successful lives (love underdog stories)
- Miami Heat for 2012 World Championship! Lebron for Finals MVP!
- Boston Celtics Big 3 (Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen). Will they play together again?
- Skype - Skyped and Video Chatted my good friend with my Wife’s HTC Incredible S mobile phone just before he got married in England while admiring a Sydney Opera House light show. Waiting for technology to improve… :)
- My wife’s great drawing talent :) :)
- smashing pumpkins: Luna, hummer
- Kevin Garnett: boston celtics
- performance management
- 7am-6pm work days…
- asking someone a question , and that person answering you back with a comment that has nothing to do with the question, then asking what the question was again…
- the whole facebook thing. 300 friends on facebook, when in reality u have 10 (family excluded)
Keep the ideas flowing. Any of the above can ne inspiration for a song, movie, cartoon, novel….anything!

album: Def Leppard - Hysteria
thought: corn flakes, and how they were made
question: Politics and religion. Should they mix?
style: Afro hair, purely for warmth in the cold?
thought: Information. There’s so much information everywhere, surrounding us. We live in the information age. Will there be an overload?
taste: the soothing of lightly sparkling spring water.
I can use any of these, in any way i wish, for further inspiration.

Check out Magic Marker Comics.
This is one of my faves… HOO HOO HEE HAA, enjoy :)

When I was at the Hard Rock Cafe NYC mid last year, I so badly wanted to buy a Black & White Fender Squier guitar from the Hard Rock shop, but couldn’t as it wasn’t part of my wife and I’s budget. So I waved goodbye…
Last night we went to Hard Rock Cafe here in Sydney and they had live feed videos from other Hard Rock Cafe’s worldwide including NYC.
While I was waiting for my wife as she went to the bathroom, I found myself sitting there in front of the Hard Rock NYC screen staring at the guitar I so badly wanted… how ironic
Let me tell you, it was a weird, strange feeling.

Creativity can come from anything, anytime, anywhere, any PLACE (that was kinda already covered when I said anywhere). REGARDLESS… Any of these can be used in any way that we wish to create something truly amazing. The power is in our hands to do so, if we wish to use this gift we have. Don’t limit yourself to to a certain style (unless that’s your cup of tea), but be confident in YOUR artistry, with YOUR creative mind with something that influences and moves YOU creatively, and emotionally. Then you will find real creative freedom! :)
Here are some things that inspired me this weekend:
- Thought: Should I share my washing machine with a total stranger? (long story)
- Question: should religion & politics mix?
- Album: Fatback Band – So Delicious
- Style: hard funk guitar + jazz/blues melodies for certain chord progressions played at the right time, right moment = sonic perfection, beauty
- Theory: At the Hard Rock Café there are live video feeds from Hard Rock cafes in other cities worldwide (London, Bombay, New York..). Are they REALLY live feeds??
Get creative.
